Leverage the implementation of the new ERP to optimize business processes.
The goal required a profound revision of the processes themselves. A recurring situation was the systematic transfer of problems as they arose to the next stage, generating inefficiencies and dissatisfaction.
The change management project was preparatory to the installation of Oracle JD Edwards ERP.
Work has been done to ensure that each problem is resolved at the point where it arises, closing all the “doors” through which problems are passed on to others in the process. The organizational resistance was very high but it was possible to obtain the desired results by working on two fronts:
- development and communication of a clear and sustainable long-term vision;
- precise planning of the various implementation phases, with times, costs and qualitative contents.
Thanks to the change management activity, the new ERP implementation project was completed successfully and on time, guaranteeing:
- streamlined and integrated processes
- significant optimization of shipments
